Water Caddy

Objective (School Project): Create a small, autonomous aquatic vehicle that can follow a swimmer and deliver small cargo (drinks, hold speaker, hold phone).

3D CAD of waterproof electrical box assemblies

Exploded view of thruster coupling assembly (coupled from stepper motor to propeller)

Bench top testing of the propeller assembly with live Arduino electronics

Result: The Water Caddy successfully operated in conditions simulating all potential use cases (pool, pond, beach w/ small waves). The propeller struggled to move against the current in waves at the beach, but the vessel remained upright and waterproof throughout.
